~Buy Refurbished & Save!!!~

Am I a bit of a brand snob, only like stainless steel appliances, like all the bells and whistles? You bet!!! But you wouldn't know by looking at my kitchen that I shop smart. I make sure to research whatever I'm buying for a few weeks to months before hand. I get a feel for the cost of it, what types of promotions are ran for it, where it sells and what they can offer, etc.

When I'm ready to buy I put all that knowledge into action. So far this year I have purchased a 10pce set of Henckel Stainless Steel pots and pans, a Cuisinart Griddle, a Cuisinart Convection Bread Machine, a Stainless Steel Oval Crock Pot, a Cuisinart 4 slice Stainless Steel Toaster and all new silverware, glasses and coffee cups. It has been a lot to budget for but I feel that I've gotten some great deals based on my searching.

So just by watching for deals and maximizing retailer offers I had the following success with these purchases:

10 pce Henckels Pots & Pans: Reg price $899.99, Paid $299.99 less I got 2.1% cash back from Smart Canucks, and used a $10 online coupon code for Sears.ca.

Cusinart Griddler: Reg Price $149.99, Paid $109.99 less I got 2.1% cash back from Smart Canucks and used a $10 online coupon code for Sears.ca.

Cuisinart Convection Bread Machine: Reg Price $149.99, I bought Refurbished from XS Cargo for $69.99. I still have 90 days manufacturers warranty.

S/S Oval Crockpot: Reg Price $49.99, Sale price $24.99, I used Gift Cards for Walmart that I received from a rebate offer so I paid ZERO.

4 Slice Cuisinart Toaster: Reg Price $69.99, Bought at Costco for $47.99.

Bought my cups, silverware, and glasses at Walmart, on sale, using free Gift Cards from rebate offers.

So as you can see, watching for deals and items you want from stores like XS Cargo and Liquidation World can save you a tonne of $$$. Once you sit back and spend the time to look for the bargains you can save in this manner too!
